Brown fern spawns. You know how anything still in its infancy stage tends to be cute or just plain delicate-looking? Well not these guys. I must admit they were some of the grossest (yet fascinating) things I've ever seen. Look at those hairs! they don't look so bad anymore once they unfurl though.
